  • Creating Contacts requires create access.

  • Deleting Contacts requires delete access.
  • Follow-up Tasks require List/Task access.

Create a Contact

  1. Open CRM.
  2. Select Contacts.
  3. Select + Contact.
  4. Enter First name and/or Last name.
  5. Add email, phone, address, linked Company, owner, assignees, tags, and notes as needed.

Troubleshooting

You cannot save a Contact

  • Symptom: Save is disabled or the Contact does not update.
  • Cause: You may not have edit access, or the app may be offline.
  • Resolution:
    1. Confirm edit access with a Space admin.
    2. Reconnect if offline.
    3. Try saving again after fields are valid.

Linked Company is missing

  • Symptom: You cannot attach a Company to a Contact.
  • Cause: Companies may be disabled, you may lack Company access, or no Company exists yet.
  • Resolution:
    1. Ask a Space admin to confirm Companies are enabled.
    2. Create the Company if you have access.
    3. Search by full or partial Company name.

A Contact duplicate appears

  • Symptom: Two Contacts represent the same person.
  • Cause: A Contact was created instead of updating the existing record.
  • Resolution:
    1. Compare names, emails, and phones.
    2. Move notes or follow-up to the Contact your team will keep.
    3. Delete or archive the duplicate only when you have confirmed it is safe.
