Manage CRM Companies

CRM Companies store organization-level relationship details. A Company can include name, emails, phones, addresses, owner, assignees, tags, notes, Tasks, and Comments. Contacts can also link to Companies when the Company area is enabled.

Before you start

  • CRM and Companies must be enabled in App Settings.
  • You need view access to open Companies.
  • Creating Companies requires create access.
  • Editing fields requires edit access.
  • Deleting Companies requires delete access.
  • Follow-up Tasks require List/Task access.

Create a Company

  1. Open CRM.
  2. Select Companies.
  3. Select + Company.
  4. Enter the Company name.
  5. Add email, phone, address, owner, assignees, tags, and notes as needed.
  6. Select + Company to save.

Expected outcome: the Company appears in the Companies list and can be opened from CRM, Search, or Contact company selectors.

  • Mobile opens Company details in a full-screen dialog.
  • Tabs are swipeable on small screens.
  • Address editing can take more space on mobile, so review before saving.

Troubleshooting

Companies are not visible

  • Symptom: The Companies area or + Company is missing.
  • Cause: Companies may be disabled in App Settings or hidden by role access.
  • Resolution:
    1. Ask a Space admin to confirm CRM Companies are enabled.
    2. Ask the admin to confirm your Company view/create access.
    3. Refresh after access changes.

You cannot save a Company

  • Symptom: Save is disabled or changes do not persist.
  • Cause: You may not have edit access, the app may be offline, or the name may be unclear/empty.
  • Resolution:
    1. Confirm edit access.
    2. Enter a clear Company name.
    3. Reconnect and save again.

A Company is hard to find

  • Symptom: Search does not show the organization.
  • Cause: The Company may be in another Space, archived/deleted, private, or named differently.
  • Resolution:
    1. Search by partial name, email, or phone.
    2. Confirm the active Space.
    3. Check Archived or Recently Deleted if you have access.
