Manage follow-ups with Reminders
Reminders bring follow-up work back to attention at the right time. Use them for calls, reviews, decisions, handoffs, and any item that should not rely on memory.
Use Reminders to:
- Capture a follow-up with a date or time.
- Assign responsibility to the right person.
- Store the reminder in the right Space.
- Repeat reminders for recurring follow-up.
- Edit, delete, or review reminders from the Reminders dialog.

- Reminder name explains what needs attention.

Before you start
- Your role must allow reminder access.
- To assign a reminder to another person, that person must be a member of the selected Space.
- Notifications can also depend on browser, device, and app notification permissions.
How Reminders work
- Open Reminders from the app navigation or a related create action.
- Review existing reminders ordered by attention timing.
- Create a reminder or open an existing one.
- Confirm Space, owner, name, Remind at, and repeat behavior.
- Save or update the reminder.
- Delete reminders that are no longer needed.
Expected outcome: Follow-up work returns to attention at the configured time.
List Behavior
Reminders are ordered to keep attention useful:
- Future reminders appear by upcoming due time.
- Due or overdue reminders stay visible for follow-up.
- Turned-off reminders are separated from active timing behavior.
Troubleshooting
I cannot see reminders
- Symptom: Reminders shows a no-access state.
- Cause: Your role may not allow reminder access in the current Space.
- Resolution:
- Confirm you are in the correct Space.
- Ask a Space admin to check reminder access for your role.
A reminder is missing
- Symptom: You created a reminder but cannot find it.
- Cause: It may belong to another Space, may be turned off, may be deleted, or may not match the current attention timing.
- Resolution:
- Confirm the active Space.
- Search for the reminder name.
- Check whether the reminder was deleted.
- Reopen the reminder from related work if available.
Reminder notifications do not appear
- Symptom: A reminder exists but no alert appears.
- Cause: The reminder may not be due, may be turned off, or notifications may be blocked by browser or device settings.
- Resolution:
- Open the reminder and confirm Remind at.
- Confirm the reminder is active.
- Check notification permissions for the app and device.
FAQ
Should I use a reminder or a task?
Use a reminder when the main need is to be prompted later. Use a task when the work needs status, assignees, subtasks, comments, and completion tracking.
Can reminders belong to different Spaces?
Yes. The selected Space controls member choices and where the reminder is stored.
