Getting started

Use the app on mobile and small screens

The app adapts to small screens by moving navigation and secondary actions into compact areas such as bottom navigation, drawers, and more menus. The goal is to keep the main work area usable while still keeping actions available.

Before you start

  • You must be in a Space where the feature is available.
  • Some actions may still depend on permissions or Space settings.

How app navigation works

  1. Primary destinations remain available through mobile navigation.
  2. Secondary page actions may move into a toolbar more menu.
  3. Dialogs may become full-screen sheets or drawers.

Expected outcome: You can complete the same core processes on mobile, even when the controls are arranged differently.

Find primary navigation

  1. Look for bottom navigation or the more actions menu.
  2. Select the product area you need, such as Collections, Chat, CRM, Settings, or Search.
  3. Use the back control, breadcrumb, or close action to return to the previous area.

Find page actions

  1. Look near the page title or toolbar for primary actions.
  2. If an action is not visible, open the page more menu.
  3. In Lists, check the compact toolbar for filter, sort, grouping, view, and more actions.
  4. In dialogs, check the dialog header and footer for save, close, and more actions.

Use guides on mobile

  1. Read the step text.
  2. Follow the highlighted target.
  3. If the target is hidden behind a drawer or dialog, close unrelated panels and restart the guide.

Troubleshooting

A button shown in docs is not visible on mobile

  • Symptom: The article names an action, but you cannot see it.
  • Cause: The action may be inside a compact toolbar, drawer, or more menu on mobile.
  • Resolution:
    1. Check the page toolbar.
    2. Open the more menu.
    3. Check the bottom navigation.
    4. Rotate the device or use a wider browser window if the action is still not visible.

A guide covers too much of the screen

  • Symptom: The guide card hides the UI you need to use.
  • Cause: Mobile screens have less room for both the app UI and guide text.
  • Resolution:
    1. Scroll the page if possible.
    2. Close unrelated dialogs.
    3. Use the guide one step at a time.
    4. Report the guide if the highlighted target remains blocked.

A dialog looks different on mobile

  • Symptom: A desktop dialog appears as a full-screen panel or drawer on mobile.
  • Cause: The app uses responsive dialogs so forms and lists remain usable on small screens.
  • Resolution:
    1. Use the header close or back action.
    2. Check the bottom or footer area for primary action buttons.
    3. Search Help for the feature if you cannot find the action.
